Millions of Muslims in Iran, Iraq and across the world will be celebrating the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.
The eid is observed on the 18th day of the Islamic lunar month of Dhu al-Hijjah, which falls on Monday this year.
Eid al-Ghadir marks the day when the Prophet of Islam [PBUH] appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) as his successor and Muslims’ next leader.
